The Story
The Brazil Cerrado coffee comes from the Cerrado Region in southeastern Brazil, specifically the Minas Gerais state. The area’s combination of consistent rainfall, high daytime temperatures, and dry winters creates ideal conditions for coffee cultivation. The region is known for its rich, deep soil called “Terra Roxa,” which contributes to the coffee’s quality. This coffee is naturally processed, with the beans sun-dried on concrete patios for two to three weeks. The climate and soil together produce beans with distinctive characteristics unique to the region.
