Process: Washed We Taste: Dried Apricot, Plum, Cinnamon, and Chocolate Covered Raisins Roast Level: Light
This Rwandan Peaberry blend comes from 75 washing stations in RTC’s supply chain. 16 of those washing stations are owned by RTC, and the rest are pre-financed and work exclusively with RTC. The coffee is gown in fertile volcanic soil at an altitude of 1400 meters and above. The cherries are selectively handpicked, wet-processed, and sun-dried on raised tables for a period of 15-20 days. After drying, the parchment is delivered to RTC’s dry mill for hulling and grading, whereby the round beans get separated from the normal flat beans. This coffee brings unique features to the taste of Rwandan coffee, with balanced acidity, mellow body, and a sweet lingering aftertaste.
